I have two of these for work, and they're good for generic office work. The refresh rate and panel type doesn't detract from that particular use even if they wouldn't be great for gaming, photo editing, etc., but there aren't great options at this price point for this size and resolution monitor that would work well for those tasks.

My only intent here is to inform. It is $220 USD, so only modest game playing specifications, if any. Most VA screens are more than enough for office work or image reproduction, per taeric.
