Not sure what a 115w TGP is but a mobile RTX 5070 has a TDP of 50w. It's not a bad deal but you don't have to spend too much more for a better CPU or CPU and GPU if you look hard enough.

50W ? Check the official product specification from Nvidia. The tech Powerup information is incomplete. 5070 mobile can have its TGp set by Laptop vendors from 50W to 100W and ectra 15W you see is from the dynamic boost.

There's no mention of 100w or 115w being used by this particular laptop's 5070 that I could find, where was that found? Despite the answer my previous comments still stands. You can find similar laptops with a better cpu for a little more

Then you are probably not looking that hard. There are plenty of reviews available, both written and in YouTube confirming that. Even their RTX 5060 models come with 100-115W TGP. You can start here: -

And no, your previous comment does not stand. You were not even aware of the fact that all the RTX Mobile GPUs since 3000 series, have a configurable TGP range, a lowest value to a highest and you were literally claiming the lowest value for RTX 5070 as the fixed TGP for the series.

Not only that, but I have no idea why this dude is talking down on a Ryzen AI 9 365. That is a 28 watt CPU that gets 30k/3.8k in multi/single core CPUBenchmark.net numbers. Like that is great actually especially as laptops have limited ability to expel heat, so most of the "faster" things on the market use 2-2.5x the wattage to get slightly higher numbers and in return give terrible battery life and do not at all improve the gaming experience on the laptop.

Not to be mean, but the dude doesn't know what he is talking about hardware wise or cost wise.

100/115 is pretty much standard for a 5070. If you didn't know that, I'm honestly not sure why anyone should trust your opinion on "better CPUs for a little more" without links to said deals or even a reference to said CPUs. This is a fantastic platform all around and a great price in this economy for a 5070.
