This is a good price, but there have been better deals (in my opinion) on other tablets at this price. For example, the Lenovo Idea Tab 11" 2.5K Tablet with folio case and pen has gone on sale for exactly this $169 price at BB and has better display, more ram (and obviously, the folio case and pen). Might be worth waiting to see about any other Prime Day deals available. But if you need a tablet today, this does seem like one of the better deals.

Community Reviews

The Galaxy Tab A11+ stands out as a budget Android tablet for everyday use, media, browsing, and light family tasks, with solid audio, decent performance for non gaming apps, and Samsung's long update support. The $169 price is repeatedly framed as strong value, especially versus similarly priced Lenovo options, and the tablet is also seen as useful for a home assistant dashboard. The main drawbacks are the missing S Pen support, no video out, and only 6GB of RAM, which can limit heavier games and make the display feel less impressive than some rivals. It is a practical pick if you want Samsung support and basic tablet duties more than premium extras.

When and where? I don't remember this deal
do keep in mind that while, yes, this samsung has 6GB RAM vs lenovo's 8GB, the samsung does have a 7000-series processor and 7 android major Android updates vs lenovo's 6000-series and 2 major updates. really depends on your priorities. cheers!

Just checked my receipt - I got mine on January 28, 2026 at Best Buy for $169.99.

Even now, the Idea Tab is available at Amazon for $199, only $30 more, and it's the better deal, in my opinion, as it comes with better display, more ram, twice the storage, folio and pen, etc.

https://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-Ide...B0FGYGBY3C

Also, another poster commented on the battery life being worse on the Idea Tab and it taking longer to charge. It's driving a much better display, so it's not surprising that battery life might be less, but I don't notice any issues and it's certainly more than sufficient for how I use tablets. Also, slower charging is cooler charging and is much better for overall battery health/life.

If you can swing $199, I'd definitely get the Idea Tab. If not, as I wrote before, this isn't a bad deal at all for the A11+.

Might be a stupid question lol... But any difference in audio quality on these cheap tablets vs a more expensive tablet if i plan to use Bluetooth earbuds?

I wouldn't mind keeping something like this at work just for youtube podcast and listening to music in the office.
I have the Samsung tab a9 and the audio is better than my Samsung Galaxy s23 phone. It's very good.
