I would try to find a spline tool (or whatever this chainsaw calls for) and adjust the low, high and idle on the carb. Two cycle engines aren't very complicated and on a brand new piece of equipment its not likely anything is clogged, so unless you might have used old gas (or unmixed gas) - carb adjustment is where I would start.
I bought this a year a half ago at the same price to cut down and process 20 or so ash trees. Would definitely definitely recommend it. This thing deserved a permanent spot on the wall after everything I put it through

I have an electric one and even though it's impressive, whenever I need something bigger done, I borrow my neighbors gas powered one. Huge difference. Anyway, in for this one, I won't have to bother him anymore.
I bought one last time at this price. Been a great saw, recommended
It is a decent chainsaw. I wouldn't say it's a Stihl. I have one. It cuts. I prefer my Echo chainsaw. It's good backup. I keep non ethanol gas in all my lawn equipment. This will keep this cheap chainsaw running good.

Not sure if I got something broken, but I bought one using this deal a few months ago and the chainsaw starts and immediately dies... Brand new!!!
