If you buy 3*200 eGift cards you get $600 for $509.97 spent. Use that to buy the Switch 2 directly from Nintendo store $499.99 + taxes with some amount left to purchase any additional games from the eshop.

From what people say on Reddit, if your CC billing address doesn't match the membership address, orders on gift cards are likely to be canceled due to anti-fraud rules.

It's in the product description. It sucks for me, because I just bought a full price set over the weekend. I now have to wait two weeks until I can make another purchase.

If you're looking to get more than one, you can buy up to 10 every 2 weeks. You just have to do it in one transaction.
If you are in a position like me and need more, you can go to the warehouse.

I originally purchased 5 of the $100 gift cards on Monday, they cancelled it Tuesday morning. I replaced the order using the same CC and I received the codes within 2 hours.

I had to call Costco customer service. They had placed a hold for fraud verification. It took like 15 minutes on the phone to get it sorted out. They say the gift cards should come through in 15 mins or so.

The CS rep said these gift cards in particular are taking longer than normal for processing holds. Doesn't make sense to me but they released my order.
