I have them. They are good for kids as they are pretty small. They also can be a pain to get connected to the switch at times. I think I got mine open box for around $20 not sure I would pay more for them.

These compact wireless Switch controllers are best as budget extras for kids or occasional multiplayer, especially for third and fourth player setups. They pair easily for some setups, work well on Switch 1, and the battery and buttons get solid marks. The small size makes them comfortable for younger players, though they can feel toy like and less suited to adults. Caveats include inconsistent Switch pairing for some, no rumble, and Switch 2 not waking the console. A practical low cost spare set if you do not need premium features.

Common Questions (5)

Yes. They are described as pretty small, which makes them a good fit for kids and for occasional 3rd/4th-player use. They also work well for games like Mario Kart, Minecraft, Fortnite, and fighting games when you want a compact controller.

At $23.99, it is described as a decent price for extra controllers, especially for 8-player games or as spare 3rd and 4th controllers. The tradeoff is that it feels cheap or toy-like to some buyers, so it is best suited to budget use rather than a premium feel.

It pairs easily on Switch 1 and can work fine once connected. On Switch 2, it reportedly does not wake the console, but it works normally after the system is turned on first.

It can reportedly work wirelessly on a PC if Bluetooth is enabled, but many games do not natively support Switch controllers, so Steam Input or another controller-mapping tool may be needed. Wired-only PC use is also mentioned as a limitation in the deal thread.

It is not officially licensed by Nintendo, and no rumble is reported. That makes it a budget controller rather than a premium licensed option.

I decided to get these. It's a decent price, and these will get used instead of single Switch 1 Joy-Con controllers when we play 8-player games (Smash Bros, Om Nom Run, Shipped)

I have them as well. They connected very easily and consistently for me. They are great for the price. As others say, they are pretty small. They're perfect if you just want to have 3rd and 4th controllers to be used every so often. Perfect for kids too

The PC connectivity only being wired really kills this for me.

Despite what it says, if you have bluetooth on your PC, it should work wirelessly, although you may need to use Steam Input to map to another controller (or some other program), as most games don't natively support switch controllers..

I bought these the last time they were on sale specifically for my children to use (7 and 5). They paired fine and work well. They are great controllers for kids, mediocre controllers for adults.

They work on PC, they connect without issue. For switch 1 works perfect. For switch 2 it doesn't wake up the nintendo Switch. It does work without issue after you turn on the console. The battery is good, the Buttons feel great TBH. Fortnite feels comfortable when playing and so do other fighting games. Kiddos like it also for Mario kart and Minecraft so I'm guessing it's work the money. Still 26$ is a good deal for this one IMHO

Same .. but they feel like toys... I think they were just under 40 when I got em earlier this year.

Not officially licensed with Nintendo seal of quality like the PowerA brand, for example.
