If you plan on getting AppleCare+, Costco is the better option since it comes out to $59.99 for 2 years instead of the Amazon bundled $69.99 AppleCare+. I'd also rather have the peace of mind of a 90 day return window and bonus with my executive card. In for 2.

Didn't realize Amazon had them on sale too. Just ordered a 256gb one.

My old iPad Air (5th Gen) is always having to uninstall everything to do any software updates, so it'll be nice to not have to do that anymore. Bonus is the form factor is the same, and it appears old cases (from 5th gen on) will fit.

Never the WiFi + cellular version on sale! Yes I know I can tether my phone but once you have had the seamless experience on a cellular iPad it's hard to go back.

to think when release 499 was a bad deal, now 520 is a better deal because apple about to raise price again due to they are passing memory cost to customers now.....

Tired of my apps reloading every time I switch between them on my Air 4th gen. I'm assuming it's running out of ram and moving to a M4 with double the ram would solve this problem?

Agree about older gen needing more memory just to install updates. It seems the glutware in apps are contributing to the rampocalypse.

for users who have used both - the base ipad and ipad air -- is there any noticeable difference , if you just use it for general browsing - like the display , reflections, etc

The 256GB/$609.99 is HOT.

Even the 128GB is good enough.

The specs are just amazing.

But here is some food for thought...

Mac Book Pro and this may have the identical CPU... but they have a completely different OS and do not share the same software!!!

It's time for apple to merge the two OS systems if they are using the same powerful CPUs.
