S I just ordered a Switch 2 this morning, is this going to be the best deal on getting some games on it at some kind of a discount? Or am I better off just looking on ebay and gamestop for some good used games? Or just getting the walmart sales as time goes on?

For digital games, Costco has run 20% eShop cards previously. It's one a year on average, around Christmas time. That's the best I've seen, and eShop cards are 10% off there normally. Newegg has done 15% off a couple of times this year, iirc, so 12.5% is slightly better than Costco, but also doesn't match their previous low.

Edit: Costco is 15% off right now.

This (or the Costco eshop card sale is a slightly better deal if you have an executive membership) combined with sales on the eshop store can get you a pretty steep discount. I keep games in my eshop wishlist and get an email from Nintendo when they go on sale.

These gift cards can also be used for the online/retro library subscriptions.

Dekudeals shows all sales on Switch games that's the best place for price tracking and research.

Thanks but there is no Costco near by, so I'm not a member

Paze $10 off 10+ only works on newegg's own giftcards over $50. Third party giftcards are completely cut off from paze on newegg. :-(

So this makes it 12.5% off
CardBear currently has Nintendo gift cards for 17.5% off
This is not quite a deal.

Note that this can be applied to games on a discount, so it's a double discount! 😉
