Why go against fluoride? Fluoride calcifies your pineal gland and closes your third eye. But seriously, it's a toxic chemical that can cause brittling of your bones and has mild neurological effects (fluoride can knock a few points off your IQ). Probably too late for me, I used fluoride all my life - but I have great healthy teeth that don't really need more fluoride - I haven't had a cavity since childhood. If you're prone to cavities maybe stick with the fluoride.
this toothpaste has xylitol which is a natural plaque preventer. Keep in mind xylitol is extremely toxic to dogs.
