I bought the original X4 open box and it appeared to be new. I was up to four dryers and ended up giving my Sunlu S4 to my nephew.

The dryer isn't printer dependant and you can dry filament standalone. You can dry it while actively printing as well while feeding it to your k2 pro (and most other printers) if you're dealing with very hygroscopic filament or in a humid environment.

They pretty work on any printer as long as you're not using a multi-material system.

Dang it, I didn't really need another one; I've already got two that feed my XL 5 toolhead. Oh, well, looks like I'm going to get one anyway - now I can pre-dry rolls and have a dual chamber for each toolhead.
