Another SDer posted in a previous thread that for anyone looking at the Family deal, it is more beneficial to buy 2 PERSONAL 365 deals for about $93.
After the conversion from personal to family, you get 18 months of Family 365 plus 2 years of Nord VPN for a few dollars more. It seems the limit is 2 for 365 personal + Nord VPN.

do you know whether it changed Smilie ? I tried google AI, it does n't give me stright forward answer
it hasn't. worked as of 2 weeks ago.

Sometime you need to have a recurring sub and payment on file for the 365 to add the code (what I learn after several attemtp to get my latest code (personal) to my family plan.

I tried this and I can't convert. It says I have to wait until the end of my term to switch it.

And the NordVPN did not stack either but consumed both codes.

Sounds great in theory, but didn't work for me. I guess buyer beware.

I'm seeing something similar. I actually only purchased one Personal 365 code, and when I try to redeem it, I see the message about getting prorated to 9 months since I'm already on a Family plan. I keep proceeding until I get to the page where Microsoft tells me when my new billing date is (October 30, 2030, since I agreed to annual rebilling to get an extra month free). When I press the button to redeem at that point, it gives me an error:

Please come back later to redeem your product key.
Error Code: UncaughtClientError

First time I'm trying this, so this is disappointing.

ETA: Breakthrough: I found out that if I declined recurring billing to get the free month, everything sailed through just fine, and I got the prorated amount added to my existing Family Plan. And I discovered I could still sign up for recurring billing to get one free month on my subscription page after the fact, so I didn't lose any benefits at all doing it this way.

That's some good use for Newegg giftcards from the last week deal!

I added a year of Microsoft Premium to my Family plan and it upgraded everything to Premium (good, I guess) and now I can't apply more Personal or Family codes to my subscription. Don't be me, stay on Family.

Sorry it did not work for you. I don't know about your situation, but I have heard that those who original subscription was purchased through Amazon, will not work w/ this method. Also, the max subscription is 5 years. If you have 4.5 years left, that may cause an issue as well.

For others, when you click all the way through STEP 4, it will still show "PERSONAL", but after you click REDEEM, it will give you this option on the next page (see attached image). After that, MS will let you know the new expiration date for keeping FAMILY. In my case, it was 12 months Personal --> 9 months Family. I stacked two and extended my Family for 18 months.

Also, I have always had Basic Nord VPN. If you are trying to add Basic to a "Nord Complete or Prime", it will not work I read. I added the codes to my Nord Basic VPN and extended it by 2 years.

Interesting. I don't even have the option to do anything with recurring billing. Strange

Check the NordVPN app. It should reflect the new expiration date, the website sometimes doesn't update.

HELP! does anyone have a clue what's happening to me with this one?
You can start your subscription when your current one ends. Make sure to hold on your product key until then.

Solid deal at $47. Even better than the previous Front Page deals in May (the exact same bundle for $60, and then $50 later in the month)
