Panera's BOGO5 coupon is mainly useful when stacked with discounted gift cards, which can make salads, soup, or sandwiches feel closer to a real bargain. The deal also works well for splitting meals or turning the second item into next day's lunch, especially with soup or salad that keeps better than another sandwich. The main drawback is redemption trouble, with the code showing as invalid in the app, on the website, and in Los Angeles. Panera's food is still seen as a healthier fast casual option, but this offer needs stacking to shine.

As many other have posted, the app and site both say the code is invalid for me.
The kicker to what makes this deal so awful aside from the fact Panera has it all the time is Sprouts the grocery store has a deli that sells similar sandwiches for $5 all day everyday and they are better than the Panera ones. Two Sprouts sandwiches is cheaper than this deal.
