This is one of the VERY few knockoff tools that use Dewalt batteries that wont destroy the expensive batteries.

"Built-in low-voltage protection shuts down below 14.4V to prevent over-discharge, extend battery life, and keep your tiller for gardening on track without delays."

So at least thats a good thing. Not sure I'd ever want a battery powered tiller, I can't imagine it does a good job or lasts very long, unless you only have a 8'x8' raised bed or something

Better solution if you want to use Dewalt batteries is to get a tiller with a universal attachment, so the motor+battery is Dewalt, but the attachment is an alternative brand. For example this one works with the Dewalt Power head, DCST972.

100% concede that a battery powered tiller is only viable for smaller projects or you need to put a 12 or 15 ah battery on it and have sore arms.
