American Airlines is offering American Airlines AAdvantage Members (free to join): Book one-way flights for 9,000 AAdvantage miles to the US, Mexico, Caribbean and Central America locations through 11:59 p.m. CT on July 7 for travel from Aug. 1, 2026, through Sept. 30, 2026. Taxes/destination fees will apply.
- Note: One-way flights to select European destinations can be booked for 21,000 miles

Only issue I had recently was they canceled my flight for weather and did not rebook me. By the time I called to get a new flight there was nothing available for the next two days. I was flying out of BNA and they were able to get me on a flight out of Huntsville, AL(about a 2 hour drive from BNA) the next morning, but the rep told me I could go to BNA and get on standby. I showed up at BNA and they told me I could not get on standby because I was not flying out of BNA. Very frustrating.
I was able to get on a SWA home and my credit card insurance covered it so it worked out, but AA dropped the ball. Otherwise they're okay.
Any way to cut through the crap and see what different routes from my home airport AND on what days and what times actually can befenit from this deal?
