The price for this combo is $390 when you apply the $40 off promo code FTTF75 in cart.

It's a pretty good deal considering how obscenely expensive ssds have gotten, though you'll need to spend another $300+ for 32gb of ram.

All I know is that there has been a lot of new chatter about failed 990 drives that got the newest firmware updates. I would not touch a 990 drive with a ten foot pool.

You see, nothing is worse then having a drive fail you... it leaves you with trouble shooting and it is a path that no one wants to go down. Besides you lost your data but more then that (lets hope it is backed up) you lost your time and effort you already put into your old system.

So the drive that I prefer and have is the SK Hynix P041 2TB gen 4.

That and Samsung tends to deny RMA replacements and will refund you the original purchase price, unless you're a well-known YouTuber.

Samsung denied my claim as well for a stove (BULLSHIT) and they kept my tablet for six weeks trying to lowball an acceptable deal. I swear to god... it was like dealing with someone from Facebook... you say, it is worth 400 I am selling it for 300 and they offer you 150.

My Tab S8+ only charged at 10W. I figured this out cause I felt it was slow from day one, I purchased a cable that gives me the read out of watts then I figured it out. My tablet was about 3 weeks old when I figured it out... it was TOO late to get a new tablet, I just spent money for a new tablet but they will send me a refurbished... I sent in my tablet and two weeks later they say... we will give you a $500 credit for your tablet at Samsung.com and I said, but you sell the tablet for $950... WE went back and forth like this for over a god damn month. FINALLY, they said, OK we now have a refurbished replacement device for you. It took 9 weeks to get a working tablet back from them.

And you are not the only person who has stated the crazy shit of being denied.

Not bad... However, I went ahead and started building myself an AM4 rig instead which could be considered comparable due to having like-kind performance.

Samsung's warranty service does seem to blow..

This deal fits nicely w/ the white Corsair case Amzn has for 46% off.
