Adding to what was already said, this laptop has basically the prettiest screen under 2k with the OLED. Like it is gorgeous and was the main reason I finally upgraded my Legion 5 Pro 16 with a 3070 in it. First thing I had seen on a new laptop that felt like such a clear improvement over my Legion 5 pro lol.
Specs, price etc this is a fantastic deal in the current market. Honestly with 32 Gbs of ram it wouldn't have been a bad deal even back in December I don't think, but now it's amazing lol.

Yeah, I was waiting for a deal on the Zephyrus G16 but the Legion at this price feels like an insane bargain in the current market. You get:
amazing screen
great build quality
great entry-mid level GPU with good thermals (the 5070ti version has known thermal issues but the 5070 doesn't)
32GB memory (~$400 on their own)
Decent battery life for a gaming device (~5-6h with normal office usage) while having quite a powerful CPU
Good port selection
I'm really on the fence on waiting or biting now D:
What do people do with these when they fizzle out from heat problems? Throw away after 3 years? Generally interested and curious
Why would they fizzle out from heat problems? Like is this based on anything other than "gaming laptops have heat problems"? Not being snarky, confused by your question. Legions don't tend to have heat problems in general, and I haven't heard of any with this unit either. My cousin had one with a I7-14650HX which is a power hog from hell with a 5060 115W in it and never had heat problems. We ended up swapping ti for a Ryzen 260 because the battery life brand new with the 14650 was less than two hours lol which wasn't going to work for a college kid. If it didn't have heat issues while gaming with that thing, it won't with the Ultra 9 275HX. On paper they both use the same TDP including the max, but the 14650hx was way hotter running.

Honestly don't know what more you could want in this price range. Like the ONLY reason I would wait is if you are dead set on a 5070 ti+. Otherwise this is basically the best machine in the 5060/5070 class at a great price. Personally I think this is better even than the Legion Pros in the current gen just because of the rear power+HDMI ports are a requirement for me after having had them for years. Side ports get damaged. I'm not sure on that battery life expectation though, you seen a review for this Ultra 9 275HX too that effect? Mine is a Ryzen 350 which is 28 watts not the 55 of the Ultra 9 and it DOES get 5-6 hours of battery life for general office tasks, especially if I remember to turn the bright screen down some lol.
How many hours on battery does this get if you use for web browsing or youtube only? Is it going to be 2 or less hours or you can get 5 hours or more?
Would it have better or worst or same battery if it was say a ryzen 9 instead?
