Had been 269 direct from manufacture for a few months and how in their ali store for $285-299 where there are coupon codes that drop the price another $35. Printer is OK.

Had my eye on this one for awhile, never 3d printed before... Seems like not a bad price?
Also should I splurge on something nicer, or is this good enough for a starter printer?

I'm interested in printing designs/logos/etc in TPU to iron onto t-shirts. Can anyone speak to that idea in general and this printer for this purpose specifically?

Don't know about this one but as a first timer as well i picked up a flashforge AD5X recently and for a bit less and have been reallyHappy.

I had an ender 3 that I could never get to really print anything.... mucked with it a lot and still learned some stuff. I bought a Kobra 3 v2 combo back in October of 2025 and it has over 2000 hours printing. I really love it. It is very consistent and impressive. Especially for the money I spent. If I didn't already own it I would buy a kobra x. That said I have seen better deals for this. Especially for the Kobra X combo which would allow for 7 color printing. I nearly bought it.

Absolutely great for a starter printer. Been printing about 100 hours on it. Had a Creality Ender 3 Pro before this and printed 500+ hours on that. Having to level the bed on the Creality was such time consuming work and getting it to print correctly took a lot of learning. With this printer, you can print from the phone app or computer and send it wirelessly to the Anycubic X. No need to level anything as its done automatically now. The multicolor is great and to remove the filament is so easy compared to the Creality. If you can get a deal on this, i'm telling you, it is so easy now to print and get great results. I got the combo that included the Ace 2 Pro drying box and extends it out to 7 color filaments at a time.
