They screwed this up and made a huge error that infuriated their customers, being too cheap to add one lousy part: there's no microphone jack for a lav on these.

If you have an iPhone with a lightning charging port, you will need to buy the more expensive combo that includes it, which was then shipped separately and almost misplaced in the packaging. A piece of tape, attaching it to the box would have gone a long way....
