It should work, it's just activation code, I remember 20G plan for both Lightroom and Photoshop was around $60, it's much expensive now

Literally just got my reminder last week that my year was almost up. Love that this comes up annually if you pay close attention.

I'll second the previous question though, does this stack if I purchase multiple. Kind of like Xbox live if so.

Be very careful with some of these plans regarding stacking, it should work if you get the same prepaid codes from the same vendor (will let someone else confirm), BUT if you previously were doing the BHphoto prepaid licenses and then switch to this newegg, even though it looks the same, it doesn't stack and starts another subscription at the same time. Adobe CC support did help in the end and I randomly got a new code a month or two after the initial request. I would wait till your current sub ends and then apply the new code.
See the convo from another one of these threads where I and a few others find this out the hard way.

what is the benefit to stack? I always let it expire, take a break for days/weeks/months, then re-activate with another code.
You can still import photos when plan expired, you can't use edit mode

Yeah and you can't buy the 20G plan any more. I just bought this to replace my now $15/month 20GB plan, though i'm sure it's something of a trap since I bet i'll eventually end up paying more once i'm out of the promotional period here.
Still i went to cancel my 20GB plan and adobe offered me 90 days free, so i'm holding off on entering the redemption code until that's done

For me, it's just insurance to save a couple bucks in case I miss this deal one year. I'm going to buy the membership every year, so a few bucks helps. I've missed the offer previously, couldn't find safe codes, and paid regular price, but I felt so defeated 😂

The last time I bought the CC Photography plan from Newegg, like 9 months ago maybe, it did not stack like the ones I had bought in the previous years. It took Adobe support like 2 months to give me a new code and they said to wait until my current plan expire to use because even though the plan name was the same, there was some sort of small product change. I can't quite remember exactly but I think it had something to do with Adobe Express. Just FYI...

Yes, wait to activate it since it's a different plan. If I remember correctly, in order to extend a plan, it has to be the exact same plan. So, buying the 3 will extend it to 3 years. This deal usually comes around in the Fall, closer to the holiday season. Last year, I bought it for $89 in December.

Chiming in to say wait until you expire to activate. No idea how long the codes are valid for, but probably somewhat indefinitely - unless they discontinue something in the plan, maybe. But I've been screwed by them more than once thinking the plans would stack but instead I had two overlapping, active plans at once. Support was no help and I swore I'd never give them money again, but I'm still struggling to find something as good at cataloging AND editing as Lightroom Classic is.

I think the point was that for people not using it say every week, holding on to the codes instead of redeeming them immediately makes sense. My current sub expires in August. I'll probably jump on this deal and buy now but I won't stack the code in my account. I'm not a super frequent user so it's possible I might not use the software for some time after my sub ends in August. I'll only start the next 12-month clock when I need it in Sept, Oct, whenever.

Is there a difference between the Cloud Pro plan vs the Cloud Pro teacher/student plan?

Does anyone know how long the codes last? For example if I can purchase and then hold onto the code for a few months before redeeming.

well, i can't get a straight answer from adobe or newegg re: buying multiples and using them sequentially. adobe says ask newegg, newegg doesn't seem to know anything.
