That supposed retail price is crazy for something you can easily tune to itself or just youtube.

Not sure why all the shade. I use clip on tuners all the time. I have never seen a rechargeable one and the CR2032 models last for months or years depending usage.
If you are even remotely serious about your guitar you should not be using your phone. Spend the $10. Even cheap Chinese clip tuners are better than using your phone. I mean, maybe a phone is passable if you only playing acoustic but for electric it is either clip on or a pedal tuner is the only practical solution. Also for live performance these are so easy and fast.
I personally prefer the daddario tuner but most work fine. Snark can be a little touchy as to whether they sense the vibration so I don't buy them any more, other swear by them.
I presume the fender product should be excellent. This is a great price, admitting that 32 is crazy overpriced.

You clearly underestimate the laziness of most guitarists. I own 2 tuner pedals, an HX Stomp that has a tuner, a Fender Switchboard that has a tuner and like 3 or 4 clip on tuners and I almost always just use the Fender Tune app on my phone to tune my guitars 😂

The real price was 15 https://graph.keepa.com/pricehist...domain=com

doesn't look like a very good tuner and I guess they just jacked up the price because there's a newer model at a similar price and nobody gonna buy this, having a "fake" price so they can do a huge cut like this.

Just curious - why isn't it possible to have rechargeable ones?

It's entirely possible, I just haven't seen one either, which is what they said.

I've had clip on tuners for like 10 years and I think I've replaced the batteries twice.
