I don't have this particular model, but I bought the non-propelled version of this 7 years ago and it's still running strong. same blades, same battery. I also have their leaf blower and string trimmer, plus 2 additional batteries. no complaints or issues so far. really good value, at this price

Picked this up to replace an older gas mower and the convenience alone has been worth it. The self-propelled Touch Drive system makes mowing much easier, especially on larger yards or slight inclines, and the 56V battery platform delivers plenty of power for regular lawn maintenance. It starts instantly with the push of a button, runs noticeably quieter than gas models, and eliminates the hassle of fuel, oil changes, and engine maintenance.

The included two 4.0Ah batteries are a nice bonus, providing enough runtime for most residential lawns, and the rapid charger helps minimize downtime. Cut quality is impressive, and the mower feels well-built overall. The main downside is the higher upfront cost compared to entry-level gas mowers, but if you're looking for a low-maintenance cordless option with strong performance and convenience, this is one of the better choices in the battery-powered mower category.

The folks that just bought Lowe's gift cards will like this deal. I thought battery mowers are light but this is 70.8 lbs which is heavier than my self-propelled gas mower.
Why's that? This is an Amazon deal. Price match?

Yes, the charger alone at Lowe's is $170.

2 4ah is more than adequate to handle a half acre or more.

you sure about that? granted I have a 1000 series, but my mower can't do my 1/3 acre bermuda lawn with a single 10Ah (and that's w/o using self propel).

Also folks might be disappointed with the non-select cut models if they're used to a good gas mower.
That said, I do like my mower. I don't think the mower + battery is really 71 lbs, that might be shipping weight for everything? it's way lighter than my steel deck makita mower is/was. Also feels more powerful.

Dual-port mowers draw power from both batteries simultaneously to hit their maximum torque rating. If you put a single battery in it, the cutting torque drops significantly. Running two small 4.0 Ah batteries simultaneously forces each battery to drain rapidly under a heavy load (especially through thick Southern grass like Bermuda). This rapid power draw generates intense internal heat. Forums consistently show that 4.0 Ah batteries run harder and hot-flash (overheat) much faster when trying to push a heavy 21-inch mower deck through a large yard.
