I just took one of these on a long trip. It was really easy to use and worked well. It makes it really easy if you have several devices like phone, computer, and tablet. You just log in the router and that's it.

sorry, but what's the purpose of a travel router, exactly? presumably you're logging into wifi on each device you have with you, right?

edit: oh, never mind. I guess it has built-in VPN capabilities if your own devices aren't already using one.

You just need to login the router. Also, if there's an ethernet port available, supposedly you can plug the router into that and get a better connection.
I ordered this and look forward to playing with it... as long as it works and doesn't give me any headaches.. lol.

The benefits is if you connect to public network you have security enabled in your travke router. Yes as you mentioned VPN is one of the good feature.

Alternate you can also have firewall enabled, your system connects to your router only and public Wi-Fi or network doesn't have a control to monitor. Second wifi repeater for better connectivity.

If youre traveling as a group everyone is pre authenticated to your router once setup you know its safe and secure for your entire group/family

I use it as the router for Starlink setup in my RV. Runs off 12v and gives tons of configuration options.
