I have a corded blower, for fall use, and tough or long jobs. Doubt any battery blower will be as strong. But I did get a Ryobi cordless, very convenient for quick blowing grass clippings after mowing or edging. Man, I would've gotten this when I was making a purchase.

I have the higher end version (more CFM) of this EGO and I love it. I had a corded blower before this and difference is like night and day. You can blow more and heavier leaves/debris in a shorter period of time. It is especially useful if you have bushes or plants where leaves tend to congregate, it gets them all out quickly. I can do my lawn in 20+ minutes without the need to recharge the battery. By the time I finish it is just about to run out of battery.
Assuming you buy 1 new battery. Check eBay, nextdoor or marketplace for a second extra battery.

I have the refurbished ego 765 cfm leaf blower purchased BF last year from Walmart for $107. It is a direct Ego refurbished blower. The amount of times I had to use turbo mode reduced a lot since it is so much stronger than the 530 one.

Would this be a better alternative ? how big of a diff is there between 530 650 and the 765 ?

I haven't used the 530 unfortunately but owning the 650 - it's fantastic and I wouldn't personally want to go any lower.

But I do think this is a pretty good deal if you only have some minor leaf blowing tasks.

I have 615 and very satisfied, the only problem is that you need big battery. I would recommend at least 5Ah
