All the people saying this and yet all I see are hundreds of millions of Toyotas and Hondas running on 0W-20 for hundreds of thousands of miles with no problem, and in fact changing to 0W-16. You do you but I'm going to keep pouring in that SuperTech/Costco 0W-20 because my Tacoma is still going to outlive me regardless.

My old buddy was a tribologist and tried to explain how all of them are 99.9% the same thing, but it's over my head.

Yes, this is safe for any vehicle requiring 0w-20 (and there are many). My guess is the weird marketing resulted in an overstock of this particular bottle.

What's interesting is that Walmart has Mobil 1 0w-20 Truck & SUV, says it protects up to 20,000 miles and costs $25. The Mobil 1 rebate gives you a $10 gift card making it $15 which is cheaper than this deal and... you get a fast & furious cup. Mobil 1 doesn't allow Amazon purchases for the rebate unfortunately.

If you look at the back the different formulas meet different standards which determine if its safe for use in your vehicle. For example this one does not meet any of the VW standards.

I recommend it!

I've tried to avoid being a victim of M1 marketing for about 25 years. It's great stuff, but that doesn't move product fast enough. People need to stop stressing over oil, this isn't 1973. Change your oil. Use the right weight. Send samples to Blackstone for peace of mind, it's worth it.

This is probably the lowest quality Mobil 1 still sold.

Most Mobil 1 products have upgraded to the newer API SQ standard. This is still at API SP.

SQ adds better protection for modern timing chains and turbochargers, the two biggest common weak points in modern engines.

Personally, I would never use 0W-20. Use 0W-30 or 5W-30 even if the "recommended" oil is 0W-20. 0W-20 ONLY exists because of the EPA. Check your manual and see what the "severe use" recommendation is. Manf. protect themselves (legally) by now including "driving in traffic" as severe duty. 0W-20 is a sham. Oil passages, bearing clearance being "tighter" is 100% bullshit. Your "0W-20" engine uses 5W-30 in countries that aren't subject to EPA regs,

Can concur your claim; my rebate was rejected a couple of months ago for oil purchase from Amazon. I bugged them for the rejection, but got nowhere.

this is everyday price, all synthetic oils are made by Warren Oil that private labels this and 5 other brands including walmarts $17 high mileage synthetic oil.
