I'm wondering about that too. Supposedly the 6th gen has 5lb extra stall force (35lb vs 30lb on gen 5). But it comes with only 2 attachments (vs 4 on gen 5). They claim gen 6 grip is better but that might just be marketing. Also Theragun doesn't come with any case now, while previous gen had a soft case. I'm not too concerned with the reduced attachments. No one is going to swap those anyway.

After looking into it briefly I'm genuinely curious as to whether Brad and Bob (one of the most popular competitors) D6 Pro Plus is the better buy. That's on sale for $190 as well. But it has up to 85lb stall force (vs 35lb on the theragun 6th gen). Same 16mm amplitude. 7 attachments with a heated head. It has the capability to change the head angle (which is only available on the more expensive Theragun models). And it has a hard carrying case. No case on the 6th gen prime.
The D6 Pro seems to compete with the much more expensive theragun pro plus which is $550.
At least on paper it seems like a no-brainer to go for the D6 Pro Plus. I know theragun is the most popular brand but by now there are other reliable competitors. Anyone have any suggestions?
