My rational is I am buying 5090 32TB 1TB for $3900 - this was purchased just 3-4 days ago!
And while Intel ultra 9 GPU is nice, it's not that nice when I get a 9700x with it: $9800x3d for $4100.
Value of 5090 over 5080 itself is like $2500 and all I gotta do is pay $1000 more over this deal to get it. Even if I adjust for CPU upgrades... spending too much for this deal spec IMO

Cheapest 5090 prebuilt I can buy since April has been going up from $3500 April, $3750 May to last weekend of $3900 June

HP and Lenovo. There was a SkytechGaming I believe that could be priced adjusted to 32GB / 1TB to normalize the config that I am tracking to around $3900 also I think. I don't care which brand sold it, I am not worried about future proofing or having more freedom to do diff upgrades, I am coming from Apple Eco, touching GPUs is already stressful enough and I've done enough parts swapping/moving in the past month and I know I don't need to "future proof" as I will just new tech if I want it.

My own price benchmarks since I've been collecting 5090's.
Monthly benchmarks (normalized to 5090 / 32GB / 1TB config)
April — $3,500
The trigger. Realized a 5090 build is what I actually need. 9700X / 32GB / 1TB.
May — $3,775
Bought the Lenovo Legion at $4,175 (64GB / 2TB). Adjusted down -$300 for RAM, -$100 for storage = ~$3,775 effective.
Then grabbed the OMEN with 9900X3D / 64GB / 4TB at $4,700. Same -$300 / -$300 = ~$4,100, but the X3D chip is probably worth +$200, so call it ~$3,900 equivalent.
I'm deliberately pricing 32GB and 1TB low — that's what I can actually recover parting them out, so I keep those numbers conservative.
June — $3,900. Ordered right around 6/19
Best entry price I'm seeing now for 5090 / 32GB / 1TB. Picked up a pair of 9700X / 32GB / 1TB at ~$3,900 (10% over my May deal, but I doubt we'll see sub-$3,900 again). Bought two — figure it out later.
