I only have switch not switch 2 but I have Nintendo online. I have series x but no gamepass. I have ps plus but only ps4 pro, no ps5. Which version to get?

Can't do PS5 cause you only have a PS4.
Can't do Xbox because you don't have online do you?
That only leaves the Switch version which is part of the sale ($20). I think that's the only one that would work for you since it's the only platform that both matches and that you have online play for?

I hear the s2 upgrade goes on sale for 5 sometimes, not just the once when it was new, does anyone know how to track when Nintendo shop items go on sale other than checking all the time?

I wonder if will be added to ps plus premium or gamepass eventually? I've had the sonic all stars racing transformed 360 for many years free from Xbox games with gold and only finally started playing it last year. Is it similar , upgrade?

I use psprices to track prices, but the upgrade was only on sale at launch. I think this was an apology for the delay of the S2 version and making people pick up the S1 version to play while waiting. S2 upgrades dont seem to go on sale much if at all.

I will say that my daughter who played the Hell out of Mario Kart 8 preferred this game over Mario Kart World and she's not even that into the Sonic characters.

Great racing game. I recommend.

you can't play switch 2 games on a switch 1 from what I know. This deal is for the switch 1 version of the game though.

There's an exception. Titles that are labeled as "Switch 2 Edition" but have a notice on the front cover that it comes with the Switch 1 game and a Switch 2 upgrade pack -- these will play on Switch 1, minus any Switch 2 enhancements of course. There are a bunch of games (in particular some first-party Nintendo ones) that fall under this category.
