I was curious about this product too, but the reviews are not assuring.

From the looks of it (I don't have any hands-on experience with it), replacing the Swiffer pads beats dealing with cleaning the roller and dumping the dirty water on this thing.

Agree. This is probably why they are selling it at a deep discount: they need more beta testers. I would also hope that the next version will have a wider cleaning surface.
