These are the frames dollar tree were selling for a buck before tariffs.
Not the best but will be ok for a kids room or maybe a dorm room.

Do you own both these and the ones from the Dollar Tree?

First review I read:

Must purchase Loveeeeeeee. Quality is 10/10 I dropped one a few times trying to mount it...glass definitely didn't break. Frames don't look flimsy at all either

You get what you pay for. Not a bad deal if your budget is under $20 and you need frames.
Don't pay attention to Amazon reviews. I think they are all fake.

I think you are conflating value & cost.

Your first comments said these are the frames dollar tree was selling before tariffs.

This indicates you owned both and could verify one was the same as the other.

Do you own both?

Yes, I do. My input is that these are frames and they will frame. These are not the same frames you would find at the art and crafts or hobby lobby type stores. These are dollar store frames.
Reviews on Amazon are sketchy. I had no idea that these Amazon dealers ship thousands of free products for five-star reviews. It's a rabbit hole but worth looking into.

The math checks out, 10 frames for $14. I am guessing most people would assume these are not the same frames from Hobby Lobby. Good to see that you own both and we can trust that you do.

The Amazon product for reviews is limited to the Vine program and has no requirement for 5 star reviews.

Maybe a question for somewhere else, but is there any way to protect photo prints from fading? I'm assuming the glass in these won't help. I'm sure a dark room also helps, but is there frame glass that will prevent discoloration over time, even in a bright environment?

I have no input on this particular product, but in regard to fake reviews, I get offers all the time. They are from random email addresses asking me to purchase products for reviews. Once reviewed, you get reimbursed. I used to only review items I actually liked, but I haven't seen anything interesting in a while. I still get about 5-10 emails a week.

I've bought a bunch of frames from AmericanFlat and I've been happy with them. They're made in the US (Wyoming, I think) and it's one person who does great customer service. One pane of glass came cracked and I ended up chatting with the owner who got a replacement shipped out quickly. The only thing I don't like is the backing: it comes with a serrated hanger mount but it's hard to get it on a nail or a picture hanger. It's not impossible but a PITA. Not much they can do to fix this unless they provide wire mounts on the frame but they'd need a better frame to hold it.

It is indeed not limited. Many companies incentivize free products for reviews. You will often find notes in the package on how to get reimbursed for sending proof of review. As for Vine, it's has become untrustworthy program where reviewers post garbage AI reviews of the product just in their hands. Maybe 1 out 20 provides a legitimate real review. I find a lot of the SD promoted deals have a very high ratio of five star vine reviews and then a few low rated non vine reviews. Personally, if I see vine reviews then I'm almost guaranteed to steer clear of the product.

If the photos are important and can't be replaced, then it would probably be better to purchase uv blocking glass. If not, keeping away from the sun and artificial lights would work.
