I should have bought the 4 pack instead of 2 pack. I love these thermometers, the only issue is the connectivity if wrapping food in foil it seems to cut off.

Just bought the 2 pack and was rather impressed by them having been wired for years. They are a bit larger in diameter than regular probes and need to be plunged about 3" into the meat so this is only really helpful for larger cuts so plan accordingly.
Also make sure to sync it with the app first, the probes first need to be stored in the display to sync with the phone. I already had them in a roast straight out of the box and couldn't use my phone to monitor temps for the first cook.

I got the two probe version. But I went ahead and splurged and got this. I'll probably use both the two and four probes when we have another bbq with guests.

much tougher conversation now. i'm in on the sync quad and the app architecture is much better, but the 2 probe sub 1ghz version here for $100 almost got me.

still confident in my purchase based on brand reputation. if you do 80%+ cooking on a kamado, maybe this. otherwise typhur will still be great, and an improvement over my meater which i also loved. i also have a back up wired for strange events i have an issue in the kamado.

XDYIYYHK still seems to work. You might need to switch to the $269.99 one sold by
ThermoMaven-US by clicking "Other sellers on Amazon" (and don't forget to tap the arrow to apply the code).

Anyone know how this compares to the ThemoWorks RFX wireless thermometer?

Just got mine a couple days ago and love it. Incredibly well built to the hand, had zero connection issues, the app is very easy to use and informative, and I like the probe thickness. Can't compare the two, but I don't regret my purchase at all. I actually canceled a Typhur order when I purchased this.

So glad I canceled my G2 and got the G4 instead. I actually had the G1 ordered originally and returned it unopened (originally purchased just for use with rotisserie), which snowballed to the G4.
