Does this offer anything over something like https://a.co/d/0aDhIMM6 with much higher native resolution?

Genuine question. Am I just paying for the brand or is Flir really better?

Not really. Generally I don't trust the resolution they sell and also don't get these generic Chinese things that really on an app. Get a handheld one if that is the case or get a topdon/brand that has been around. Just bought a few handhelds to compare and the Chinese brand is definitely nicer to use, the cheap cheap is worst then that but sells a higher resolution (blatant lie).
