I have this and the screen is a little nicer than a matte laptop screen for comparison. Nxtpaper is essentially nano etched glass with some software level visual enhancements vs typical coating for matte screens.

Low expectations for future android update availability and not the best hardware specs for the price, but still pretty good for this price. Def not worth the 370 msrp listed. 300 would be a fair msrp imo

I recently got it from Walmart for $187. Tablet only, no pen or case. Works well as a ereader.

MicroSD not supported. Is that a change? I thought they always did before.

256GB storage built-in. Should be sufficient and likely more economical for most people.

Related: I've been coveting the Nxtpaper 14 for about a year now, primarily for sheet music. The aspect ratio is much better (wider) than my Lenovo P12 and it's a bit bigger. Last BF it was $299 for a bit and fluctuates between $339 and $459. Now it's $312 and I'm tempted, but I just wish it had SD--then it would be perfect.

For most people, probably true. For me, I was constantly running out of space on my iPad Air with 256 gb. My Pro has 2TB and still has plenty of breathing room. It has 220 gb of just books on it currently.

I used to get digital magazines as well and they were often 100-200 mb per issue. It adds up fast. Was thinking the TCL might be better for reading. Plus, I already have a bunch of microSd.
