Be very careful ordering from Bambu directly. I ordered a P1S during their anniversary promo that arrived bricked and their CS outright refused my return request and is giving me the runaround with tech support. I'm nearing chargeback territory -- they're that shitty.
I was a Bambu fanboy up until this; now I'll never touch another of their products again. Buyer beware.
Love my p1s. If you're getting into 3d printing it's an awesome machine to learn on. At this price who gives a rats ass if it's "obsolete" in 2 years? Its a fun hobby at a good price.
But i will warn you, be prepared to spend a bit more than this for a filament dryer, air tight storage for your filament, filament itself, and new nozzles. And you'll likely want the AMS soon after buying, too.
FYI: This printer is set to be obsolete/EOL very soon. Feature updates likely will end in 2028.
Not true - and Bambu continues to support obsoleted printers for an additional 5 years.
"The P1P and X1 will stop production, but will be supported until at least 2030. Bambu states that they have no plans to end the P1S at the moment."

It amazes me how people endlessly repeat the nonsense that filament just sucks all of the moisture out of the air and can't print unless dried for 52 days straight.
Yes, wet filament CAN be a problem, but people blame every issue on wer filament and it just isn't that much of an issue

The p1p is supposedly still stocking parts for 5 years, but I've head of some parts already not being available. It's sad because that promise made me actually believe they weren't just going to leave users hanging.

All I said is a dryer will likely be an incurred cost soon if you're new to the hobby. It is something you need unless you want your prints to look like garbage.
