Uhhhh ...I suppose it depends on what you're using it for/on....Not supposed to use silicone on...well...I guess silicone "toys"...Never ever tried the silicone type personally, though...Kinda overloaded with a box of different brands of giant bottles I never touch at this point -- & don't think (def 100% won't!) use even like 1% of in my lifetime...

eBay?!?
Not a toy kind of guy, I suppose.

I'll throw a real comment in the mix of all the jokes. Silicone last longer but leaves a sticky residue. Much better for the shower. But if any toys are involved than you need water based.
Or maybe your toys should not be made of silicone?

I'm not allowed to go through the "back door" without it!
This water based lube is not the kind you want to use for back door play. Silicone based is best for back door and water based is best for the kitten.

Silicone all the way, water based is a sticky tacky mess

Protip: So if you're installing a bidet seat, you have to install those hard rubber seat bolts. They're hard as hell to get into the toilet. The manual suggests water to get it through, but I had some astroglide laying around from probably far beyond the reasonable shelf life.
If you let your intrusive thoughts win like I did, you will have a very bad time.

I have tried them all and we have only stuck with Uberlube. It's expensive but it's well worth it.

There is hybrid lube that is toy/condom safe, cleans up like water, but offers better performance than water.
