Avoid these like the plague. There's a known and widespread defect where the middle or (most likely) top ethernet port goes dead after a year when the warranty is over.
Had mine for almost four years with zero issues to the ethernet ports, same with my older M4s, they're still running also since the whole system is backwards‑compatible. The only problem I've ever run into is because I have everything wired back haul. About every six months it randomly decides one of the other wired units is the internet input, drops the actual connection, and needs a quick unplug or reset to fix it.

I have had mine for about 3 years. I have 6 total units all with wired back haul. Unlike the previous reply, 2 of the 6 units have had an Ethernet port go out. Other than that they've been really great for my use case, but it's definitely a valid concern. Like you mentioned, both times out of warranty and no help from the manufacturer. 2/6 failure rate in my small sample size is pretty bad and for some people a dealbreaker.

3 of 3 of mine went out, but not at the same time.
It's a defect in the hardware, so the evnetually all 6 of yours will go out.
