This movie was in licensing hell for years and tough to find (legally), glad to see this cinematic masterpiece is available to buy.

Serendipity: I'm responsible for nineteen of the twenty top-grossing films of all time.
Bethany: Nineteen?
Serendipity: Yeah, the one about the kid, by himself in his house, burglars trying to get in and he fights them off? I had nothing to do with that one. Somebody sold their soul to Satan to get the grosses up on that piece of shit.

Funny that for years this was so hard to find on Blu-ray under $100-$150, and now the 4K is under $20.

I love this movie. Probably Kevin Smiths best. Masterpiece relative to his filmography but i doubt it as far as non Kevin Smith movies. Still though, i havent seen it in many years, and its probably his only movie with decent direction/ visual framing. I wish he would have had this level of passion in the last 20 years

That's because the movie rights were owned by Harvey Weinstein and he refused to sell it back to Kevin Smith for years (at least, not for an exorbitant price). Only recently has it finally gotten back to Smith (or to someone who's more willing to work with him, at least), so it's getting re-released.
