$10/ KG is a good deal in general. The part I don't understand is why many times refills like this are priced the same as spooled and sometimes even higher. Seriously, I don't understand.

If you have the spools lying around then great, but I'm seeing 4kg on the reusable spools for $43.34. So the savings from the refill are not large. Then again, half the time the refills cost more than the spooled filaments so at least this is a savings of some sort.

They're hoping people who think they're doing something good for the earth will buy these. They're targeting the same people that were convinced plastic straws are the problem as they leave the store with their purchased reusable straws in a plastic shopping bag driving their 19MPG SUVs

<$8/kg is considered good. The 5 roll Sunlu color bundle was cheaper a couple weeks ago. I'm sure it will come up again.
