This is the best blender I have ever owned. No Joke. Super powerful. Perfect blending of all sorts of things. and actually good looking, although that is not important, it is still nice. I paid $99 and I am not sorry. I have had the ones that are 1850 watts with a brand name and they are not better, just a name brand. This one is able to liquify whole ginger and turmeric and carrots. Ice is no problem, smooth fruity drinks in less than 40 seconds and I use frozen fruit. I LOVE IT. The company is slow to respond but they do respond and they are great about solving problems. I had trouble with the lid and so they replaced the entire machine. The blades are not sharp. Sounds wrong but at this speed, the are perfectly able to pulse or make paste of beef and pork. So if I do need to put my hand in to clean it (hardly ever because it has a clean cycle) I can't get cut.

It sounds like the Obliterator will work for frozen cocktails then
