These things suuuuck. They overcharge if you don't remember to unplug them and after owning this for a year the battery lasts only a few minutes. B&D products have become hot garbage, this vacuum is leading that charge.

Can confirm. I got this for $20 a few years ago and the battery is terrible and the charger kills it. Or doesn't actually charge it since you didn't set it down perfectly and was flashing at you. So you pick it up and it's dead instantly. Do not spend $50 on this

Believe you are referring to another model that requires you to place the vacuum on a charger base. We have two of these models and it only takes a little extra bit of care to place them correctly on the charger. The flashing blue light will confirm that you have placed the vacuum on the charger correctly.
