While I don't own this brand, a dethatcher is a must to keep your lawn looking green over the long term. This and aeration really keep things green.

I'm not sure I'm going to like it but that it's a good deal is undeniable. The camels show this is abour 1/2 its long term price.

I paid way more for the cordless version last year. It worked well for my front lawn and if you're only going to use this annually it shouldn't be an issue.

This will handle both tasks correct? Considering it as a gift

Tempting but 13amps means I'm going to need to upgrade to 10/3 and at 100' that quickly makes this not so much of a deal for me

I own this, it does well. Neither function is aeration, which is debatably more effective than either of these functions, but I couldn't afford a better option.

The bag fills up nearly immediately so make sure to cut your lawn as short as acceptable to not have to dump the bag every minute or two.

My yard did green up and fill in tremendously after using it. Of course it filled in with crab grass but it is green...

Why would you need a 3 conductor wire for a 120v motor

Not an expert, but the scarifying attachment is spinning blades. It's cutting grooves into the soil, so it will help with aeration to some extent. But not to the extent that the dedicated aerators that pull out plugs will.

This or one of the "more no name" brands on amzn? Since its corded, i cant imagine its much of an upgrade over the other corded ones. I like Wen as a brand for inexpensive tools but just want to get something thats gonna last and not be a pain. Also been eyeing battery powered ones (im in the makita ecosystem. Theirs is way spendy) but i have plenty of 100' HD cords and only a quarter acre lot.

With portable extension cords, the number of conductors includes the ground. And no, you don't need 10/3 at 100'. Your voltage drop will be maybe 5V with 12/3, 13A, 100'. Please have fun today.

Dumb question, but genuine. What's it like maintaining a lawn in NE TN? Compared to Florida lawns

My first thought was when I saw that is "That is one funky looking lawnmower!" 🤣

My moms yard is bad, very spotty grass and holes in a few spots from a dog. If I fill in the holes would this then help me clean up the ground/ grass so it grows evenly?
