The Hoka deals (for women at least) were better via Woot. However if you missed out on that deal or didn't find your size, this is still Hokas on sale which is better than paying full price. They are so popular that finding great deals on them in colors and sizes that you like is not easy (for me anyway and I'm not buying for me, I buy for my wife and daughter). So getting them for a few dollars off is still a welcome thing to find.

I'm wearing this exact same shoe I bought on a SD a few weeks ago. It's has less cushion than any hoka I've had. Maybe it's meant to for its purpose but I bought it for the soft cushioning like my other pairs have and disappointed it's kinda unforgiving feeling.

These are trail shoes garej704. They are meant to offer a more responsive feel to the ground and grip than anything else

Most Hoka models have a lot of cushioning and are typically intended for runners. However, many people wear them as casual shoes or work shoes for that same reason. FWIW, both my doctor and podiatrist recommend Hoka because I am heavy and have flat feet so they will reduce stress on my joints. Some people say the cushioning can wear out quickly so best to get them on sale.
