Anyone have any suggestions from here for something for a 5 year old with two players? Looking for something me and him can play together. Shredders Revenge is the only one on list we've beat

It Takes Two is a good co-op game!

Get Witcher 3 on my switch or PC w/4080 gpu?
PC will obviously look way better, but it does play well on Switch. Really depends on if you value the portability.

Most of the good 2-player games for little kids I'd recommend aren't on sale right now (like Kirby or Yoshi).

But for games in this sale, the Lego games are always great (Star Wars, Harry Potter, or Marvel Super Heroes if he likes those IPs, otherwise Lego City Undercover). Boomerang Fu is fantastic for kids, though it's versus instead of co-op. Absolum might be fun too if he liked Shredder's Revenge. It's less cartoon-y, but a great beat'em up with fantastic accessibility options (for example, you can freely adjust how much damage one player takes or deals).

Sale on most of these ends July 8th. Personally gonna give it a week and see if any of the physical editions of the few I'm interested in hit similar prices in that time.

Look up Portal Knights for $6Or you could try Cat Quest the Furtastic Trilogy for $16 . The first one isn't multiplayer but 2 and 3 are.

I'll second what 3supes said. My five y/o and I just beat Lego Marvel Superheroes together (because he's very into Marvel right now), and we're just starting Lego Jurassic Park. I picked up Let's Go Pikachu for his birthday later this summer; reviews all said it was a good game to let the kiddo take the lead and the second player mostly functions as a background helper, which is perfect for how we're playing right now. Can't attest to that one yet personally

EDIT: He and I beat Shredder's Revenge on my PC earlier this year. He liked that one a lot too so the Lego games would be right up his alley

My son is now 8, but we started playing coop when he was 4. Lego Marvel and Cat Quest 2&3 are the most fun games we've played together.

Yeah, but for a five year old? The whole story is about divorce with arguing parents and some of the timing puzzles seem beyond a kid of that age in my opinion.
