I have both and the APP 2 is way better sound wise. Only got the 4 because the pros made my ears sore after a few hours so now I use pros for the gym and 4 for everything else.

Honestly at this price I would just get them just because. This is insane value for the ANC and sound quality it provides. Also you can EQ them a bit with iOS 27 which has been nice.

It says shipped and sold by Walmart not VIPoutlet. Anyway returnable to store. Ordered one. Thanks OP. Note in order to check if it is ANC, the part number should be MXP93LL/A

I would value it more aesthetically. There was a listing of open box Airpods 4 with ANC for $65, sold by Walmart itself, but that is oos now. I brought the last one of that listing.

I'm the guy who forgets his airpods are in his pockets and whose wife runs them through the wash.
I've bought a few pairs from VIPOutlet (who undoubtedly is handling these sales) and they've all been fine. One had a small bit of ear wax, but nothing I couldn't clean - and well worth paying half price. (They were 50 bucks)

Furhermore, the open-box ones that I received have 9-10 months warranty on them, which is longer than the 14-day return period. Just with all "pre-owned, like new, open-box, fair" labeling, it's a YMMV. Until you get the unit in your hands, it's a crapshoot. Just order from a reputable establisment that you could return it easily if the actual condition doesn't match the vendor's assesment.

How do you check warranty info on these pre owned units? I only have android devices.
