Community Reviews
This gel cleaner is aimed at stubborn mold and stain cleanup in bathrooms and washer gaskets, with the 8 ounce size looking like the better value if you need more coverage. The strongest results came from letting it sit overnight, then draining or scrubbing, and it helped a badly stained drain area look much better. Practical tips centered on using a toothbrush or other brush and keeping the area dry afterward to prevent regrowth. The main drawback is that it did not work on every gasket stain, and cheaper alternatives like gel toilet cleaner, Bar Keepers Friend, or bleach based methods were suggested instead.
Common Questions (5)
Yes. Bar Keepers Friend cleanser, gel toilet cleaner, spray bleach, or bleach-soaked materials are all suggested as cheaper alternatives that can remove similar stains when given dwell time.
Keep the area dry and ventilated, and do not leave washer or bathroom doors fully closed when not in use. Running a fan after showers, cleaning drainage traps, and routinely drying the ring or gasket help prevent recurrence.
Let the gel sit on the stain before scrubbing or rinsing so it has time to work. For tight areas like caulk or gasket edges, users also suggest plugging drains, covering the cleaner overnight, and using a toothbrush or similar brush for cleanup.
The 8-oz bottle is the better buy if you need more product, and the 16-oz size is the best value at about $0.95 per ounce. The 5-oz is the smallest option, so the larger sizes make more sense for repeated bathroom or gasket cleaning.
It can work very well on stubborn dark mold stains when applied to the area, left to sit, and then rinsed or run through a quick cycle. It may miss some spots, and it did not work at all for one user on a gasket even with heavy scrubbing.

I would just use spray bleach or gel, let it sit then scrub away. Alternatively vinegar is a good bathroom cleaning agent, but remember, the goal is to let it sit and do it's work. After you're thoroughly done, you have to prevent it from coming back by routinely cleaning the area out and letting the ring dry. Never fully close, always leave a cloth on the door way to allow ventilation.
