I think the 8oz is a better deal if you need it $9.99

Honestly, look at the before and after on some of those customer images, tells me no. The product images also show a clear gel, then a white gel while being applied. The brush is probably worth it.

I would just use spray bleach or gel, let it sit then scrub away. Alternatively vinegar is a good bathroom cleaning agent, but remember, the goal is to let it sit and do it's work. After you're thoroughly done, you have to prevent it from coming back by routinely cleaning the area out and letting the ring dry. Never fully close, always leave a cloth on the door way to allow ventilation.

There should never be mold in there, be sure you are not leaving it closed when not in use.

Someone mentioned the brush. I just use an old toothbrush. I mark old toothbrushes with a sharpie and use for different cleaning purposes.

I have had the bath issue forever. Nothing worked. Including rolling up toilet paper soaked in vinegar overnight. I also tried baking soda mixed with vinegar under the soaked rolled toilet paper. I am going to try this. I believe the reason in my case is an ineffective vent. Will eventually change caulk and try again with a clean slate.

i had this problem. a costco woozoo fan, running for 2 hours after showering, dries it out and stops the problem. i still havent cleaned, so no advice there. but that's how you can stop progression
