Just an FYI Project Farm tested the Brita Elite filter (higher tier than this one) with bad results https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3g14JtDrkNY

I almost bought the ZeroWater off of that review but Reddit had a lot of complaints about it. Filters get slow and the water can tasted bad. People can go through the filters fast and they are expensive. My municipal water is pretty good with no fluoride - chlorine is minimal. If people have basically decent water I think Britas are wise because they are are more reasonable and fast. I don't mind the basic filters because Elites can last 6 months (4 months longer than regular) because it becomes a breeding ground and probably needs to stay in the fridge (where it would absorb more plastic. I like Project Farm reviews but sometimes they are overkill and more wonky, than practical.

Low TDS (total dispersed solids) in testing has not even been universally7 acknowledged as ideal.
WHO review:

Water with extremely low concentrations of TDS may also be unacceptable to consumers because of its flat, insipid taste; it is also often corrosive to water-supply systems.

How many different Brita filters are there for a pitcher? Regular, Plus and that blue one?

That's the guy that sounds like Kermit, right? Who constantly changes the inflection on his voice so that it's painful to listen to him?

(if you don't believe me, listen to his long-winded videos at 1.5x-2.0x speed. it's like a roller coaster for your eardrums.)
