Just like the other commenter though I'm worried about the chip. Will this last me at least 5 years? Still on a MacBook with 4gb ram that I'm ready to retire!

Also, it's a good idea to consider what happens after the 2 years of education... will this still be useful then? What software requirements are needed for the education as well as what's used in the industry?
