Just FYI: 2.5k doesn't matter much over wireless. There's a minor but mostly indiscernible difference from 1080p, and their software being absolute dogshit doesn't help. I own at least 6 different versions of their cameras, at least 1 from every generation; they are clearly outsourcing the software for each model, so when you're using them in the app they all behave differently (especially if you're using an SD card/scrubbing a timeline).

I should've cut my losses a long time ago, although it wouldn't matter much since security cams have been enshittified across the board—but I'd still have several expensive SDcards my Wyze Telephoto cams have chewed up from absolutely atrocious firmware rollouts that left the cards bricked.

I'm not bitter, you're bitter. Also inb4 people who never use their cameras start claiming theirs all work fine—I track TNR cat colonies so I actually use my cameras; I'm acutely aware when they're all fʋcked up.

Agree with you. The motion sensor on this camera s compete garbage. Unless it's a newer version from their 2k option. Anyone know?
