Satin is a weave, not a material. I guarantee that this will be the most miserable purchase you've ever made for sheets, because it'll be cheap ass polyester that heats up in the summer and make your hair all zappy in the winter.

Satin is GREAT for summer, but you can stick with flannel.

I had something similar before, they are nice but yes very slippery lol. Also if you have a dog that hops in your bed their feet will scratch these up immediately.

We switched back to cotton because of the dog but I loved satin sheets.. rolling over was an entirely new experience. You sort of just spin in place and don't wind up on the other side of the bed or all bunched up. In fact I may buy these out of nostalgia now that I think about it. They only last about 2 - 3 washes in my experience but for $10 polyester...
