Refurbished is buried in the spec. Save 5% with Target card. Similar to the deals last month. WiFi 6 and not WiFi 6E/7!

Great Deal IMHO for me. 16GB laptops are un-usable. LPDDR5X is fast but not expandable. The Intel 288V are kind of a bummer compared to Panther Lake 356H/358H but those cost double (for almost double the performance). Two Type-A and two TB4 is what I need.

from what i can tell, the costco reviews are mostly a mix of "old man yells at cloud" and valid (pretty major) problems with the build and firmware. anyone have this model? any truth to those reviews?

I bought it twice from Costco.. it's time it came with cracked screen ( so maybe shipping issue) second time it started making sound and black line in screen started appearing. The specs are good on this laptop but the quality is not good

I bought 2 of these certified refurbished from Acer Ebay: Intel Core Ultra 5 226v 16GB 1TB and Intel Core Ultra 9 288v 32GB 1TB for kid and wife. So far, they have been serving us well. They dont run hot, they handle all the basic tasks (browsing, netflix, light gaming, text editing and processing, general productivity etc) easily. Screen brightness is perfectly fine even being 300 nits. Overall, I'm a happy customer. That said, we've only owned them for a few months, so I can't comment on long-term reliability yet. Hopefully, they continue to provide many years of uneventful service Smilie
